Inspired by the true story of a high school aged social media influencer who’s stalker showed up on her doorstep with a gun after she had blocked him online. 17-year-old Benri’s life seems perfect: she’s popular, heading to NYU in the fall, and a burgeoning social media influencer. But behind her perfect seeming facade, Berni’s life is a mess: her best friend is betraying her, she’s struggling to gain anymore followers, and her boyfriend Zack dumps her. Heartbroken, Berni starts up a friendship with Mason, one of her online fans, and agrees to sell him private “fan photos”. After Berni and Zack get back together, Berni tries to break things off with Mason and things turn deadly.
