Lauren (Barbara Niven) moves into a beautiful house in a small town with her father, Stran (Daniel J. Travanti). After they are settled and Lauren has begun dating her neighbor Brian (Gary Hudson), she finds out that there was grisly murder committed in her house a few years ago. Her father becomes obsessed with the case and is convinced the wrong woman is in prison. When Lauren’s father then dies, she doesn’t become suspicious until she takes a weekend vacation with Brian and all the clues unravel. She realizes she has been falling in love with a murderer.
