Thumbprint Holiday Lights Cookies
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup walnuts
- jam (any flavor)
- Extras: chocolate, sprinkles, carmels, caramel-filled chocolates
Instructions
- Mix butter and brown sugar.
- Add an egg, salt and flour and mix.
- Form one-inch scoops of batter per cookie. Dip each scoop into egg batter and roll them in walnuts.
- Make a thumbprint into the center of each cookie and fill the center with your favorite flavor of jam.
- Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Once you’re done baking, dip the bottom of each cookie in chocolate and then dip them in sprinkles.
- Add the finishing touches by garnishing your cookies with Rolos and paint them with sugary luster dust!
