Mulled Wine Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 16 oz. cranberry juice
  • 4 oz. Apple Jack brandy
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons allspice
  • Orange peel picked with cloves
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Allspice

Instructions

  • Add Cabernet Sauvignon wine, cranberry juice, Apple Jack brandy, diced apples, cranberries, pumpkin puree and allspice to medium saucepan and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly and transfer to a heat-safe carafe.
  • Add pricked orange peel and cinnamon stick to glass.
  • Pour warm mixture into prepared glass.
  • Garnish with pricked orange peel, figs and cooked fruit.
