Regina Hall
TristaRegina Hall began her acting career in the late 1990’s while simultaneously earning a master’s degree from New York University. With numerous film and television credits to her name, Regina Hall has emerged as one of Hollywood’s most sought after comedic actresses.
Hall was last seen in a guest starring role in new FX series “Married,” which premiered on July 20, 2014. Created, directed and executive produced by Andrew Gurland, Married also stars Nat Faxon and Judy Greer as Russ and Lina Bowman, who can barely remember what was like before kids, debt, and suburbia rained on their romance.
Most recently, Hall starred alongside Terrence J, Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, and Michael Ealy in “THINK LIKE A MAN TOO “ a sequel to Screen Gems’ “THINK LIKE A MAN,” a battle-of-the-sexes comedy based on Steve Harvey’s book “Act Like a Lady; Think Like a Man.” “THINK LIKE A MAN” earned $96,070,507 worldwide. “THINK LIKE A MAN TOO” was released on June 20, 2014.
Hall also starred in “ABOUT LAST NIGHT” opposite Kevin Hart. “ABOUT LAST NIGHT” was directed by Steve Pink and grossed $28 million opening weekend. The film was based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and is a remake of the 1986 film of the same name. The romantic comedy was released on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2014.
Hall can be seen in the Universal Pictures’ comedy “THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY” the sequel to the hilarious and successful film, “THE BEST MAN.” Hall stared alongside Terrence Howard, Taye Diggs, and Sanaa Lathan. “THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY” is the story of college friends reuniting after 15 years over the Christmas holidays. They soon discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited. The film opened #1 at the Box Office, grossing $67,175,505 in the US.
Additional credits include “SCARY MOVIE” as well as its three sequels, “PAID IN FULL,” “MALIBU’S MOST WANTED,” “FIRST SUNDAY,” playing opposite Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler in the dark crime thriller “LAW ABIDING CITIZEN,” playing opposite Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence in the comedy “DEATH AT A FUNERAL.” Hall had supporting roles in “LOVE AND BASKETBALL” and “DISAPPEARING ACTS.”
Also, Hall’s television credits include the role of Deputy D.A. Evelyn Prince on “Law & Order: LA” and Coretta Lipp on “Ally McBeal.”
