Okay, if you don’t already know Iris Apfel, then we’re about to make your day a particularly special one.
Not only has the interior designer made the White House a fabulous place for nine presidents, but at 94 (almost 95!), the longtime style icon is now more beloved and more talked about than ever before. Why? Just look! See? You’re in love now, aren’t you (and that’s before you’ve watched her totally inspirational documentary on Netflix which you should absolutely do ASAP).
Now, because sometimes the universe is a wonderful place, Apfel, Macy’s, and I.N.C International Concepts have teamed up to create her own line of emojis and they are just everything.
Now, though Apfel herself is still rolling hard at 94, she admits that she’s not exactly the target user for these, “I’m a little old for emojis, and I didn’t know what they were,” she said in a press release. “But everyone seems to like them, and I want everyone to have a good time. If my face makes people happy, I’m all for it.” It does, Iris! It does!
