About the Show

You’ll need an extra place setting at the dinner table on Tuesdays next year because America’s Supernanny Deborah Tillman is moving in! In the second season of Lifetime’s hit unscripted series, now titled “America’s Supernanny: Family Lockdown,” host and child care specialist Tillman will live with families for one week, during which she will experience first-hand the challenges and issues each family confronts 24/7. In “America’s Supernanny: Family Lockdown,” Tillman moves into the homes of parents throughout the country who are seeking guidance and assistance on how to best raise their children. During the week of Tillman’s stay, the family will be required to remain in the house at all times and not allowed to use any computers, phones, games and television so that all distractions are minimized and they can focus on spending quality time with one another and put all of their effort into learning from Supernanny. For one week, she will dive straight into the chaos and heart of the matter, giving viewers an all-access look at troubled households by closely observing each family dynamic to pinpoint their complicated problems and follow through to resolve their issues to put families on the road to happiness. Those problems range from poor disciplinary habits, separation anxiety and picky eating to bad bedtime routines, clinging to mom or dad, spoiled behavior and serious attention problems. Tillman is a Virginia-based wife, mother, author and childcare specialist, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school students. Last year after an exhaustive search, Tillman was named America’s Supernanny, chosen from a pool of more than 400 candidates to find the country’s best homegrown nanny. Tillman owns several children learning centers in Virginia and wowed producers with her charisma, firm but loving philosophy to caring for children and natural ability to connect and work with families experiencing relationship problems. “America’s Supernanny: Family Lockdown” is produced by Shed Media US with Nick Emmerson and Stephanie Schwam, and Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Abigail Harvey of Lifetime executive producing. A global hit, “Supernanny” has been formatted throughout the world, including Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Greece, Holland, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
